Creativity.
Opportunity.
Community.
Part educator, part retailer, part production house and all about people, our not-for-profit social enterprise uses fashion and creativity to create work and learning opportunities for Melbourne’s refugee and new migrant communities.
Learn more about usWe’re champions of social impact and sustainability.
People and positive social change are at the heart of what we do. More than 820 people have come through our doors since we opened in 2009, learning valuable fashion industry skills through our TAFE-accredited training, or taking up work in our education programs, production studio and in-house label. On the way we’ve also saved more than 20 tonnes of fabric and textile waste from landfill.
Learn more about our impactOur leading fashion and arts-based curriculum builds future success.
As new migrant and refugee communities forge their own path toward a better future, we’re here to support through accredited, effective education and employment opportunities in fashion and design. We’ve won awards for our approach, with 89% of graduating students from our formal, fashion-focused accredited TAFE programs obtaining ongoing employment or moving on to further study once they leave our doors. And many find work within them, too.
