The Wear It Out Sale: a fundraiser for The Social Studio
We're working with some of Melbourne's favourite consignment stores and clothing resellers to put on a huge fundraising sale to raise money for our free fashion programs for refugee, asylum seeking and migrant creatives on April 24 and 25!

Goodbyes, Mutual Muse and Secondo have all donated items for our first-ever "Wear It Out" sale, including pre-loved pieces from brands such as Ganni, Dion Lee, Rag & Bone and more.

Coinciding with Fashion Revolution Week, the global campaign to make fashion fairer and more sustainable, The Social Studio's CEO Dewi Cooke said the sale was a powerful way for people to make a difference with their clothing choices.

"Not only is shopping secondhand a great way to be more sustainable, but the money spent at the sale will go directly towards supporting our free work and training programs for the city's next generation of refugee, asylum seeking and new migrant creatives," she said.

Principal donor Goodbyes said sellers leave behind thousands of unclaimed items in their stores each year. These pieces are eventually donated to good causes, part of the company's commitment to social impact.
