The Wear It Out Sale returns to Collingwood Yards this November, bringing together a considered edit of pre-loved fashion from some of Melbourne’s favourite consignment stores and resellers.
With pieces from Goodbyes, Bruce, Secondo, Re Rock It, Mutual Muse, 1 Hotel Melbourne and more, the sale is a celebration of fashion that doesn’t stop at one wear. Every piece has a past a new place to go.
The sale is a huge fundraiser for The Social Studio, supporting its free fashion programs for refugee, asylum-seeking and migrant creatives. Through education, employment and creative opportunities, The Social Studio uses fashion as a way to build skills, community and pathways into the industry.
Ahead of the sale, 1 Hotel Melbourne is inviting guests to take part in 1 Less Thing throughout October, donating gently worn clothing in honour of Melbourne Fashion Week. Selected pieces will make their way from the hotel to The Social Studio and onto the sale floor at Collingwood Yards — extending the life of each garment while supporting the next generation of creative talent.
